Minutes of the last meeting

WMTA MEETING

January 12, 2006 – 4:30 p.m.

Richardson’s Restaurant – Hagerstown, MD

 

 

Members Present:                 Dan Seiler, Wally Malkiewicz, Dave Yohman and Charlie West

 

The meeting was called to order by President Dave Yohman at 5:15 p.m.

 

Reading of the minutes was waived since they are posted on the website.

 

Treasurer’s Report -  no report was given.

 

Discussion was held on:

 

President’s Report – Dave Yohman

The next fundraiser is tentatively scheduled in March 2006.  Details of the fundraiser still need to be finalized.  Dan will check on the cost of software and a mailing list for this bulk mail fundraiser.

Discussion was held on the scholarships presented to the seven public high schools. A scholarship meeting is scheduled for January 28, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Dan Seiler’s office.

Questions were discussed on the yearly Profit and Loss Statement and the Balance Sheet for 2005.

Discussion was held on ways to get more participation from Lodge members in the Maryland Charities Campaign.  Lodge members are reminded that their donation can be designated for the WMTA.

Trooper Camp will be held August 10-11, 2006.  Dave will forward a letter to the Barrack Commander reference this matter.

 

Next meeting will be held at Richardson’s Restaurant on February 9, 2006 at 4:30 p.m.
